Principal’s Welcome

Welcome to St Bede’s, a place of hope, joy and wonder. Founded in 1963, we have a proud history of providing a positive and nurturing learning environment for kindergarten to year 6.

Our goal is to nurture thriving people, capable learners and leaders for the world. We have high expectations for each student to achieve their best, supported by our dedicated staff.

St Bede’s fosters safe and productive classrooms where individual differences and diversity is valued and respected. We also encourage collaboration and partnership between home, school and parish and we endeavour to live and model the values of our school motto, Walk in Love and Peace.

We provide opportunities for support and challenge through differentiation, learning support, extracurricular activities and extension. Specialist teachers enrich student learning in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM), French, Music, Library and Learning Support.

Supplementary programs are also offered throughout the year including dance, gymnastics and sports clinics. Before and after school care and a school counsellor is also available.

A major refurbishment of all classrooms and administration areas was completed in 2022, along with enhanced play spaces, sports facilities and an extended car park.
